Carver County Parks & Master Gardeners invite you and your family to attend the annual Earth Day Celebration at Lake Minnewashta Regional Park from 9-11:30am on April 23rd. No registration or parking permit required, FREE event! (If bringing a large group, please RSVP to jfenn@co.carver.mn.us)
Volunteers will help clean-up trails, pull buckthorn and remove invasive thistle from our oak savanna habitat. Following the service projects, Mackenthun’s Grocery is sponsoring a FREE COOKOUT to celebrate the great work everyone has done!
Master Gardeners will assist with identification of invasive plants and provide information about the issues that invasive species create in an ecosystem.
